My name is Emilie and I'm really glad you're here! I'm a film and digital wedding photographer based in Austin, Texas. My passion for people, attention to detail and problem solving skills makes weddings the perfect space for me. In order for me to tell your unique story, I want to be more than just your photographer, I want to be your friend. I want to understand you, your vision and your concerns. With over 15 years in business I have learned a thing or two and I can give guidance to create images that will last the next 50 years.

When I was 16, my mom passed away from breast cancer. At the time I didn't realize just how important having all my childhood memories photographed would be. Now that I'm an adult and have been documenting weddings for 15+ years I understand how impactful having these memories are. On your wedding day, I will be your biggest advocate to making sure every moment is captured.

Growing up, my mom and grandmother always had a disposable camera with them. I vividly remember going to Walgreens to drop off the film and anxiously awaiting to have it developed . I still feel the same excitement today when I get film scans back from my lab. For my 13th birthday, my mom gifted me my very own point-n-shoot camera and lets just say my childhood cats were well documented. And as they would say, the rest was history.
It might sound cliche but I was born to be a photographer.
